Assoc. Prof. Minas Dasygenis, PhD
Minas Dasygenis (Electrical & Computer Engineer, Ph.D.) is an Associate Professor at the School of Engineering, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Western Macedonia, Greece. His research focuses on the design of embedded systems, hardware accelerators in homogeneous or heterogeneous architectures, autonomous robotics, reconfigurable computing (FPGA), cyber-physical security, and high-performance computing.
He carries over 16 years of university teaching experience across Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems, and Parallel & Distributed Systems. He has published over 85 peer-reviewed scientific papers, authored 3 textbooks, served as principal researcher in multiple European and national research projects (AMDREL, INOS, EASY, PRENED, PENED), and supervised over 89 completed diploma theses and 5 PhD dissertations.
